Clayton HS to Hold Forum on American Foreign Policy

The Clayton High School Social Studies Department will hold a forum on "American Foreign Policy: The State of Diplomacy" from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 27 in the CHS auditorium.

The focus of the forum will be the United States' place in the world today with a "current events" look at American foreign policy, which will likely include topics such as the Middle East, China, Russia and North Korea.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature three of the area's top political science professors and a former U.S. ambassador:

  • Kevin O'Malley, Former Ambassador of the United States to Ireland

  • Ellen Carnaghan, Ph.D., Professor of Political Science, St. Louis University

  • Nori Katagiri, Ph.D., Professor of Political Science, St. Louis University

  • J. Martin Rochester, Ph.D., Professor of Political Science, University of Missouri, St. Louis
